Arma 3 initially launched in March 5, 2013 as one of the first Early Access titles on Steam, and by September 2013, it had already progressed to a full release. This six-month turnaround was impressive not just at that point in time, but also today, and in the future. Early access games are not known for quick graduation as they mostly take their sweet sweet time to develop. Or be an outright scam.
In its Early Access phase, developer Bohemia Interactive allowed players to engage with and provide feedback on a core set of features. Through an iterative process, the developers focused on improving performance, fixing bugs, and expanding the game’s mechanics in response to community feedback.
Arma 3 is an open-world, tactical military experience. The sandbox nature of Arma 3 allows for extensive community-made mods, missions, and even games. Remember PUBG? Yes, it bears repeating that that game is once an Arma 3 mod.

Arma 3 is still being supported by its developer. There are DLCs being produced and sold. This once early access game is a gold standard for the program that only few had been able to replicate.
